At Mars Amps
At Mars Amplification has a unique approach to building vacuum tube guitar amplifiers. They start with salvaged tube amps from old film projectors, gut them down to the sockets, and build variations on some classic amps inside the chassis. The result is a hand-wired, point-to-point, all tube, custom amp that uses all new internal components and 50 year old iron. Old stock tubes are tested and reused as well. The original face-plates and vintage name plates are incorporated to give the amp a unique authentic old school look. Custom cabinets in custom colors are constructed around each chassis to complete the conversion... | read more... |

East Amplification EAST Amplification is the newest offering from renowned, innovative amp designer Jeff Bober. Circa the mid 1980’s, Jeff Bober began his career repairing and modifying tube guitar amplifiers for local, regional and national artists. Honing his craft in this very specialized field year after year under the company name of Precision Audio Tailoring, he had the opportunity to work with some very notable performers. “Probably my biggest thrill at that time was to be able to build some gear for Stevie Ray Vaughan. He was very happy with the amplifier and cabinets that I had designed and built for him, and wanted me to build another amplifier, but unfortunately his life was cut far too short.”... | read more...

Landry Amps
As a guitar player growing up in the 70's, Bill Landry had a deep appreciation for the electric guitar tones of the 70's into the 80's. As a working musician, he found himself in a never-ending search for the tones he loved from his favorite guitar players. After more than 25 years, he failed to find an amp that could produce all the various tones that he wanted. This led Bill, in 2002, to the conclusion that he would simply have to build it himself... | read more... |

| Metropoulos Amplification This is George Metropoulos' personal outlet for his obsessive nature regarding all aspects of vintage Marshall amps and their tone. The catalyst for this venture was the idea that he could leave his real plexis safely at home and take something to gigs equally great sounding but more easily replaceable if something were to happen. The only problem with this approach was that nothing lived up to the tone, vibe, feel or dynamics of the real plexis.... | read more...

Morgan Amplification
Joe Morgan is an electrical engineer who started his career working on GPS satellites in the 80's at Rockwell International. An avid guitar player and musician, Joe's love for guitar amplifiers led him on a 10 year quest to discover all the subtle differences in guitar amplifier design and just how these differences effect tone. In this process he realized that the amps he gravitated to had one common element. They all were very touch sensitive and dynamic amplifiers that were as much a part of the player as the guitar is... | read more... |

Phaez Amps
Randy Fay started developing audio gear back around 1990. In the beginning, he focused on a range of hi-fi audiophile tube gear and custom speakers, but over the years his focus narrowed to the development of custom guitar amps with an emphasis on overall sound quality. For Randy, the designing and building of high end audio gear means developing the ability to percieve in an in-depth fashion how small circuit changes affect sound... | read more... |

Red Plate Amps
Located in Phoenix Arizona, Red Plate Amps is a guitar amplifier manufacturing company with a simple philosophy : "Get the cleans right first and the solo tones will follow". Designer/builder Henry Heistand started the company as a hobby in 2006 and by 2008 artists like Elvin Bishop, Tommy Castro, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Kid Andersen and Mighty Mike Schermer were transporting their "little red amps" to concert stages around the world. In tube amp circles, the term "Red Plate" usually refers to a tube running past its thermal limits but in the case of Red Plate Amps it is meant to convey the idea that the amps are all tube and sound great when overdriven... | read more... |

Tungsten Amps
Chasing tone is in Adam Palow's blood. As a child, he looked for sound and music in nearly everything around him. In his late teens, he stumbled upon a vintage 5 watt, Class A tube amplifier, and it changed his life. He was immediately drawn to the warmth and breakup of that single 6V6 pumping through a miniscule 8" Alnico speaker. That sparked a lifelong obsession and pursuit of good tones, a thirst which has yet to be quenched... | read more... |
