~ Mario Beauregard Guitars ~

DestroyAllGuitars is honored to announce that we are representing world class luthier Mario Beauregard who's recent works have been breaking down boundaries and pushing the envelope of guitar design across most all genres especially that of the Archtop, Hollow-Body, Flat-Top, Thinline and Jazz-Nylon.

In the beginning of the '90s, while Mario Beauregard was in sales and repairs at Tom Lee music in Vancouver B.C., he started guitar building with luthier Robert D'Crivouir. A few years later he moved back to Quebec where he received one of the his first grants from "Les Couseil des Arts et des Lettres du Quebec." The Art council enabled Mario to attend the Roberto-Venn school of luthery where he met Ervin Somogyi in one of his master clases. Mario was invited to study with Ervin, and this represented a turning point in his career. During weekdays Mario would work and study with Ervin Somogyi and during the weekends he would drive up to Taku Dakashta's shop to learn about archtops. Beauregard also went on to work as the designer in the R&D department of Lasido for a period of 4 years. Mario is presently a one-man operation in the small town of St-Denissur-Richelieu near Montreal, Quebec and continues to act as a consultant in the industry.

The Mario Beauregard MB

We are most fortunate to represent direct sales of Mario Beauregard's highly sought after and evolutionary "MB" guitar. The MB's hand carved rounded side rims and dropped carved top and back are the keys to it's superior sound and trademark look. The MB was designed to preserve acoustic properties while an interior baffle system was incorporated to limit and cancel feedback.
