Cp Thornton HTL (Solid Body)

Cp Thornton HTL
DESCRIPTION:

“The HTL, like the Classic and the Legend, honors a great guitar without copying it. As a Luthier, I look at an existing design and think of improvements for increased playing comfort, sustain, durability, and resonance.

"To accomplish this on the HTL, I made the body a little smaller and lighter. I angled the neck a 4.5° which makes the guitar easier to play, especially for those used to an LP style guitar. Like the Classic, the neck is bolted tightly into the body and won’t wobble back and forth even if you loosen the neck bolts. This tight coupling between neck and body enhances sustain. Like all my guitars, the HTL has a volute at the back of the headstock, an arched headplate, and the smallest possible truss-rod rout, to make this vulnerable area of the guitar as strong as possible.”
