The b3 comes in five flavors:

Earth (from $3495) - Flat top model - This element embodies the natural raw essence of a simplistic nature of design, there's something to be said about natural talent and humble beauty.

Fire (from $3995) - Carved top solid body model - This element adds a dimensional character, giving life to the carve top with a heart on fire.

Wood (from $4995) - Chambered to Hollow body models - This element adds natural rich tones, attributed to the acoustical properties with the introduction of air, allowing the woods' tone to be showcased, giving each a unique voice of its own.

Water (from $5595) - Carved top/carved back hollow models - This element adds motion and grace, giving birth to the added flowing shapes and contours of the instrument with the woods' interacting between the front and rear woods, adding sound waves into the tonal picture.

Metal (from $2995) - Neck thru models - This element adds strength and stability as a single unit allowing the instrument's resonance to travel unbridled throughout the center of the instrument.

Models can have a combination of elements such as an Earth/Wood model would be a flat top with a hollow body or a Fire/Metal hybrid being a Carve top neck thru. Elements feed and have a cause and effect unto each other. With these parameters new models will naturally be born as new instruments come to life. The XT is part of Gene's Project X "neck through" series. The "XT" is Gene's take on a classic Fullerton design. Like the XS and XS 3 X 3, the XT is built to allow you to play your best and fastest if desired. The neck is a players dream come true with super easy action and possibly the most welcoming easy upper access neck carve in the business. Take Gene's incredible skills, add to that the finest alder, maple and rosewood available, top it off with DiMarzios Area T pickups and you have one monstrous machine whose tone, playability and looks are certain to win your hands and heart as well as the ears and eyes of all others within range.

The XT Phoenix is a solid Mahogany/Rosewood neck thru guitar. A few are even single piece instruments, meaning the neck and body are one piece of Genuine Mahogany vs. the more common center neck with wings glued on. The XT is another tribute to, and collision of, some of the coolest guitars on the planet. Guitars with Gene Baker's unique twist that define what he does best.
