Henriksen JazzAmp 10 and 10-R (reverb)

The JazzAmpTM 10 from Henriksen is every jazz guitar players dream. Featuring a 10 Eminence speaker in a cabinet that is 14" X 14" X 8.5" the JazzAmpTM 10 weighs in at only 20 pounds.

Size: Measuring 14" X 14" X 8 " and weighing in at just under 20 pounds it is outrageously portable.

Power: Maximum power on the JazzAmpTM 10 is 80 watts at 4 ohms (this requires an extension cabinet). As shipped with a single 8 ohm speaker it delivers 60 watts. What is more important is the amp will deliver an SPL of 111 at 1khz without distortion. A typical jazz sextet plays at an average SPL of 97 db as measured 10 feet in front of the bandstand.

The best just keeps getting better!! After extensive testing to assure heat dissipation and vibration control Henriksen is ready to release the JazzAmp-10Plus. Essentially it is a JazzAmp 10R with two times the head room. 160 watts with reverb at a price of $899. It is in the same cabinet as a 10-R and looks exactly the same. The power plant is the same as that in the 12-R and the Head.

SoundClones. There are 4 models. Two wear the "JazzAmp" label and the other two are endowed with name "BluesAmp". The SC-10-JA and the SC-12-JA are identical to the JazzAmp-10Plus and 12R in terms of speaker and sound. They have no EQ or other features and sell for $699 and $749 respectively. Keep in mind they are "powered speaker cabinets" at 160 watts with only a volume control. They will be available for shipping by July 15th. The second two models are geared toward the blues/rock market, with the 10 being voiced with a Ragin' Cajun speaker and the 12 with a Legend 1258.
