| Hopkins Monarch Regal YOU ARE VIEWING A SALES ARCHIVE ENTRY - THIS GUITAR HAS BEEN SOLD. IT IS POSTED HERE AS AN EXAMPLE OF PAST SALES. PLEASE CHECK THE "NEW ARRIVALS" SECTION FOR INSTRUMENTS THAT ARE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE. DestroyallGuitars is quite honored to present for sale, the "Monarch Regal" archtop, an exceptional work of art from world class luthier Peter Hopkins. The Monarch Regal sits at the top of Peter's line of instruments and rightfully so. It's beautiful looks, impeccable build quality and superior tone, all trademarks of a true master builder, earn this guitar it's place along side the finest made. This is also a rather important landmark in the history of DestroyAllGuitars as it marks the beginning of a new era for us as we announce the news that world class archtop builders, Peter Hopkins, Bill Comins, Mario Beauregard, Ed Schaefer, Stefan Hahl and Tom Bills have all joined the DAG family. This is a dream come true for us and we could not be more excited. The archtop is a very vital instrument that we firmly believe is going to rise, once again, to a much more prominent position in the upcoming years. A sort of re-birth of the cool, with the builders mentioned above, along with Tom Ribbecke and Theo Scharpach whom are already with us, as the ones to take it there. I view the sale of this guitar as a celebration welcoming aboard this remarkable group of luthiers who will be responsible for bringing both the archtop and DestroyAllGuitars to new heights. In the meantime, I'd like you all to turn your focus on this incredible work by Peter Hopkins and let's see who will be the one fortunate enough to take this Monarch Regal home.
