PLEASE CHECK THE "NEW ARRIVALS" SECTION FOR INSTRUMENTS THAT ARE IMMEDIATELY AVAIABLE. A recent creation from the bench of luthier Nik Huber is this stunning trans-white finished korina Orca. It has a European curly maple top with an ultra lightweight and exceptionally resonant Korina body and neck. The fingerboard is a beautiful thick slab of East Indian rosewood which is graced with pearl dot inlay markers. The headstock has a dark rich ebony overlay with a pearl dolphin set in above the truss rod cover, and there are also ebony pickup rings. The Schaller tuning pegs also have ebony end pieces. The pickups are a Haussel Vintage neck and a Haussel Vintage + in the bridge. There are two tone controls and two volume controls with a coil tap in the neck pickups tone control. The frets and hardware are all silver finished and the body is highlighted by a scraped maple faux binding. The back plates for the two cavities are cut from the same Indian rosewood used on the neck, and the headstock has Nik Huber's signature at the top. This is an exceptionally beautiful sounding guitar. It is in the highest class when it comes to tone. It plays with the greatest of ease and is visually stunning. There is not much else one could ask for in a guitar. Forgot to mention, the tailpiece and bridge are the TonePros System 2. This guitar is available exclusively through DestroyAllGuitars in their new arrangement with Nik Huber guitars. These guitars are all one-off exclusive designs, made by Nik Huber specifically for DestroyAllGuitars. | | | |
