Little Walter 50/VG50 Watt Head and Combo

The Little Walter 50 watt chassis is hand built, uses point-to-point construction and is their most popular amp. It is used by such guitar greats as Vince Gill, Brent Mason, Reggie Young, Paul Franklin, Bruce Bouton, and Dan Huff. The chassis uses Hammond transformers and top quality signal capacitors and has the clean tone that made Little Walter Tube Amps famous. The 50 Watt is a class AB, cathode biased amp that is switchable to a Class A mode. It can be ordered with a direct out jack that can be ported to a board or P.A. system or with twin output jacks. A nice feature on this amp is the 4 space rack rails on the back. The amp is shipped with a great 3 space vented rack panel.  You can drop the vented panel and there is room for a single space effects unit.

The 50 watt chassis utilizes a 6SC7 octal pre amp tube, a 6SL7 phase inverter, a pair of 6L6 power tubes, and a 5U4 rectifier tube.

Two Versions, Standard and Vince Gill:
There are two versions of the Little Walter 50 Watt amp; the two knob version with volume and tone controls, or the three knob Vince Gill version with volume, bass and tone controls.

Cabinet Variations:
The 50 watt is also available in a 16" wide head version (same chassis as the combo). This amp is exactly like the large model but in an easier size to handle.

Little Walter offers a beautiful Sunburst finish on figured maple in two or three color sunburst on this amp. These cabinets look great in your home or studio. Since your amp is an important instrument there's no reason it should not look as good as your guitar.

Amps can be built in other exotic natural wood finishes on a special quote basis.
