Louis Rosano started out building Tweed Twins back in 1992. He has always had a deep respect for the design principals and manufacturing practices of Leo Fender & Jim Marshall. Having spent so much time working inside their incredible inventions, has given Louis a good deal of insight on how a great guitar amplifier is built.

The Louis Electric line of amps delivers a combination of Louis’s experience with more than a little bit of his own soul in the mix. He has created a line of amps that he believes stand up to what he calls the six requirements of Louis Electric Guitar Amplification...

Louis doesn't make false promises that these amplifiers are for every guitar player under the sun. DAG represents custom commissions for Louis Electric. We can only handle a limited amount per year and they are on a first come-first served basis with typical wait times ranging from 6 to 10 months. Louis Electric Gattone

Named in honor of legendary guitarist Danny Gatton after his death in 1994, Louis Electric created a special commemorative amplifier that they hope Danny would have loved as much as his LE58 Twinmaster. A custom cabinet design spreads sound in an acoustically perfect manner to produce a tighter bottom end. Louis Electric Baby Bluesbreaker

The Baby Bluesbreaker is just what it says it is, a 1 x 12" combo which screams that Beano tone from the start. Wind down your guitar's tone and open up the amp for some very familiar womanlike sounds of the 60s. This is a very aggressive and rather loud amp, not at all for the faint at heart.

Louis Electric KR-12

The KR12, is Louis Rosano's masterpiece. Think of the finest Keith Tweed tones and now add 3 levels of gain that can take it all the way to full on modern metal while always maintaining a very healthy dose of that 50s/60s vibe and mojo. This amp does it all and could easily be anyone's desert island amp.

Louis Electric Trembelux

The Trembelux is Louis's take on the history of the tweed, starting off in the realm of a Deluxe and finishing off with one of the most musical Bandmaster/Bassman singing lead tones you could hope for. You can simply plug into the "Normal" channel and work the volume and tone for a world of incredible sounds or you can bridge the Fat and Normal channels for much greater flexibility and control over the sculpting of your tones.

Louis Electric Tremverb

The Tremverb is, well, think Setzer as opposed to SRV for a lively jumping reverb amp whose sound will fill the room. This amp has tones that are more characteristic of old Ampegs and Selmers as opposed to those from the Fullerton Plants. The Tremverb has a brighter and livelier sound that jumps from the speaker and dances about the room.
