DESCRIPTION:

The JTM 67 borrows it features from the Marshall JTM50 from 1967 which started the rock era of Marshall amps. It was the first Marshall with EL34 power tubes, but with a rectifier tube for smacky response. It comes with a classic ECC83 preamp and as is standard on all Gladius amps, the unique Variac power reduction. Only absolute state of the art components are used along with being hand-wired and utilizing the best possible tubes. An indispensable extra feature is the channel-patch, which switches both channels together without having to use the conventional patch cable. Also, the rhythm-lead switch allows you to play the amp real tight, without getting the usual sludgy sound when playing a Humbucker-guitar (an often criticized aspect of vintage amps. The JTM 67 brings enough gain for classic rock without becoming marshy with too much gain. Despite the EL34 power tubes it produces a fat sound and allows your guitar's sound to come through genuinely unaltered with the world famous charm of a Plexi.

With the rhythm-lead function (clearly visible through different colors on the pilot light) and the two preamps you get 4 completely different amps in one unit which can be even be switched!

Rhythm-Channel
With this setting you will get a clean and stable tone, without the vintage character. It has explosively quick response, without sounding too harsh. Fat and round, similar to the vintage version, but mercilessly defined like with Gary Moore or Ritchie Blackmore.

Lead-Channel
As the name already suggests, in this setting the complete vintage sound up to 1967 is covered. It is extremely fat, round and dirty as well as 'smacky' in response; the sound used by AC/DC, Jimmy Page, Bernie Marshden and many others.
