Angry Angus uses Gotoh hardware, CTS pots, USA Switches, Orange Drop capacitors, and solid core wire. All Angry Angus guitars are finished with 100% nitro cellulose lacquer.

All Angry Angus Guitars are aged in the following manner: Hardware has a faded patina, with small amounts of tarnish and wear. Guitar bodies have nitro lacquer “checking.” There are small dings and scratches, but not many. All lacquer on necks and headstocks is tinted to varying degrees with amber nitro. The back of the necks are flat to simulate wear. Angry Angus does not remove lacquer from the fretboard or body and does not smash the bodies with keys or sharp objects. They do not use fullerplast or any other epoxy filler.
