DAG Welcomes Monty Guitars!

Brian Monty is now officially a member of the DAG collective and we could not be more pleased. In recent years, Monty has been exploding onto the boutique guitar scene, and for good reason. Now we have the great privilege of introducing to you the Monty Bluesmaster, Blues Queen, Bluesbilly, Erica, Montrealer, Rockmaster I & II and Tonemaster.

Brian Monty started out as a guitar player and has continued as a guitar player who makes guitars. After forty-five years of playing and holding guitars, Monty knows what one should feel like in the hands of the player. What has always fascinated him has been the sound generated by the fashioning of the wood itself, those first notes as the guitar is strung up to tension. To Brian Monty, a guitar is a musical instrument that is meant to be played, not to be purchased and then confined to a vault. With this in mind, he fashions guitars that feel, sound and play like you have had it for thirty years.
