The MB's hand carved rounded side rims and dropped carved top and back are the keys to it's superior sound and trademark look. The MB was designed to preserve acoustic properties while an interior baffle system was incorporated to limit and cancel feedback. It was originally designed for jazz players but turned out to be an extremely versatile guitar suitable for most all musical genres which prompted Mario to offer several different pickup combinations as well as a maple topped ABR stop tailpiece model which is the MB version of the famous ES335 guitar. The MBs sell for $10,000 and have maple back and sides with a spruce top. We also offer an all maple model with an ABR stop tailpiece which is $11,000 and is made from exceptional highly flamed maple. |
