Red Plate BluesMachine

The BluesMachine is a truly unique design combining the features of the TweedyVerb with a specially designed overdrive section (Same as Drive #1 on the Magic Dust) for the most singing blues tones ever imagined. Incredibly versatile, it allows clean rhythms and saturated lead tones without touching the amp. A 50 watt output section, fully buffered effects loop and tank reverb are standard features along with a 3 button footswitch (Fat Tweed-Overdrive-Boost).  The BluesMachine comes standard with a 6 way rotary switch that steps from the clean Blackface type tones to funkier Brownface tones all the way to dirtier Tweed tones for instant tone changes to suit the song. The BluesMachine can be ordered as a head or 12 inch combo.  Other features include a 40 watt cathode bias switch and HI/LO power switch (formerly known as the "Vintage 17 watt" switch ). The master volume controls on RedPlate amps are very effective but if volume is a real concern the cathode bias position allows for the use of 6V6GTA tubes for playing at even quieter levels.
