Ribbecke Guitar Corp. Testadura Halfling™ Thinline Guitar

Taking inspiration from the classic Ribbecke Testadura RGC is building the highly anticipated Testadura Halfling™! This guitar is a combination of their Thinline guitar and Tom's double pickup Testadura. Its the ultimate cross between a Traditional Ribbecke Testadura, a Halfling, a 335 and a Les Paul.

Tom's Testadura is the ultimate 335 style guitar. It's design is based on the venerable Gibson 335. And now RGC is combining their Halfling™ technology with the Testadura's block system. Perhaps the most important and unique feature of the Testadura is it's movable center block which allows conversion from semi-hollow to truly free top design. It will provide it's owner with two very distinct and differently voiced guitars in one package.

What is a Halfling™?
It's Ribbecke Guitar corporation's revolutionary design of guitar or bass in which the soundboard is flat on the bass side & arched on the treble side. The Halflings™ are capable of large, full fundamental bass response with the ability to hear and distinguish all the notes of a complex chord when ringing together. By combining the flat topped Steel String guitar with an Archtop Ribbecke has combined the best of both worlds!
