The guitars are built in the Kiso Valley of Japan, which has been the home to many of the world's finest luthiers for centuries. This instrument is an amazing blend of tradition and innovation, melding Kiso’s expert craftsmanship and Tom’s revolutionary designs. The collaboration began with Kiso’s luthiers coming to work in Tom’s shop and culminated in a visit from Tom to Japan. It was an amazing cross cultural experience!

Each Kiso-Ribbecke is fine-tuned by hand over at Ribbecke Guitar Corporation, insuring the sound, look and feel of a great archtop.
