Rusch Guitars is a one-man custom guitar shop located in scenic & historic Youngstown, New York, 10 minutes away from The mighty Niagara Falls.
Robert Rusch began dabbling in the fine art of lutherie in 1983 when his first forray into instrument building and woodworking began. The love and passion for guitar playing, performing and recording over the last 28 years has helped build a solid understanding of what the discerning artist/guitar player wants from a hand built custom instrument.
He currently builds a select batch per year of no more than 20 instruments – allowing him to ensure the tightest quality control while providing comprehensive customer service.
His range is vast and includes a complete and diverse line of guitars such as - Solid body electric, Semi-hollow/chambered electric, carved archtops, hollow bodies, flattop steel string acoustic guitars, Jerry Garcia tribute instruments, electric Ouds and also "from the ground-up blueprint" one of a kind custom instruments.
No idea or cutting edge design is out of the question. Rusch Guitars holds a strong reverance for traditional design, while always maintaining an eye for the future and keeping up with guitar building techniques and technologies. He is always learning and growing so as to constantly perfect his craft.
