Potvin Ranchero Grande

Michael Potvin's first offering to DAG is nothing short of spectacular. We rate this as one of the absolute finest sounding P90 guitars to ever grace our halls. The incredibly resonant korina body coupled with an ebony fretboard on a black and white ebony neck and Lollar P90s have come together to create a truly jaw dropping 3D tone. Listen to the demos by Lance, who almost didn't send the guitar back, and you'll get a good idea of just how special this guitar is. It's also incredibly underpriced at $2500. Guitars of this quality will not stay priced this low very long.

The Ranchero Grande is the two pickup version of the Ranchero standard. It has all the simplicity and vibe of it's little brother, but packs a little more punch and versatility. A pair of Lollar P90s easily does everything from crisp clean tones right up the classic P90 crunch with a simple roll of the volume control. All of the Ranchero models feel like classics from the past but feature modern appointments.
