This P-1SV #031 is an understated classic. The body features a flamed Redwood top, finished in a moody 2 tone sunburst, on a laminated back of Port Orford cedar, flamed maple, Honduran mahogany and black dyed anigre, finished in amber trans. The neck is 1-piece quarter sawn maple with an Indian rosewood fretboard, medium “C” shape, no top dots, finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. It houses a Suhr SSV in the neck position (surrounded by a hand-made solid nickel silver trim ring), a Classic T in the vintage style bridge with its 3 compensated brass saddles, a master volume, master tone and a 3 position switch. The non-locking Sperzel gears feature black pearloid buttons… just to add to the moodiness. The Port Orford wings, pumped by the maple core block, add a life and resonance unlike any other wood combo.
