DESCRIPTION:

Here's the Red Rocket treatment on a sweet little "S" type beauty. Simplified and sleek, the body is a little thinner and smoother and the straight up master volume and tone with a 5 way switch lets the classic hardtail strat vibe loose. The Fralin Blues Special Strat pickups can do everything from a sweet Knopfler tone with rich clarity to screaming breakup with sustain for ages. Stainless frets for note bending that feels smooth and flowing. It's a featherweight too, 6.75lbs, what more can you ask for?!  It comes with a tweed hard case and a Lifetime Warranty.

- Bookmatched rosewood drop top over solid Spanish cedar
- Double bound with flame maple and checker purfling

Neck:
- Flame maple with a birdseye fingerboard, rosewood skunk stripe
- Abalone top and side dots
- Soft V  to C profile (.84"-.92")
- 1 11/16" bone nut
- 22 med jumbo stainless frets
- Machine bolts with threaded inserts
- Double acting truss rod in heel
- 10 - 16" compound radius

Finish:
- Vintage tint hand rubbed oil finish on the neck
- "Black Gold" on sides and back, cross-linked lacquer on the  body

Pickups:
- Lindy Fralin Blues Special strat set, reverse wound middle, steel base plate on the bridge pickup, classic tones with and extra helping of rich twangy goodness, no icepick highs, only sweetness.
- Wired for volume and tone controls with a premium paper-in-oil tone capacitor on a 5 way switch
