- With the series/split/parallel switches this gives you 21 different pickup selections. With the preamp/ buffer bypass switch doubling your sounds.

- We are also including the cable needed so that one can plug-n-play with Scott's unique buffer and effects loop defeat feature detailed below.

Scott's guitars are wired with a built-in active buffer, and an effects loop. This combination offers several advantages over a traditional guitar setup. The addition of the efffects loop jack built in to the guitar allows the signal to be sent out to an effects chain, and to return the post efx signal back into the guitar using a single stereo cable. This enables the volume control on the guitar to act as a Master, post EFX Volume for the whole system. Since the effects are driven from a constant level, low impedance buffered source before the volume control on the instrument, the musician can count on a predictable response from the devices in his effectschain.. The additional (mini-toggle) effects bypass switch built into the guitar, gives the musician a true hard-wire bypass control at his fingertips.
