| | | Lacey Classic
Designed for jazz and rhythm & blues players, the Classic model is named for its vintage looks. The body is routed out on both sides to create sound chambers, leaving a solid center core. The top is hand carved Sitka spruce. This combination results in an incredibly warm tone while retaining some acoustical properties of an arch-top and reducing feedback. The optional brass tailpiece is hand engraved and plated in 18 carat gold. Two '57 Classic humbucking pick-ups combined with a 3-way selector switch, two volumes and master tone control complete the electronics. Mother of pearl inlays and ivoroid bindings add the finishing touches.
Also available with neck pick-up only and ebony tailpiece.
