Ruokangas Mojo "Ten years ago I didn't really understand what the fuss was about this style guitar. They seemed worn out and boring - not enough technical fun-stuff for a young luthier like me. The more experience I gained the better I realized that the simple ways are in many cases the best ways of all. To design a guitar - keeping things simple is a piece of cake - but improving the already existing at the same time..! The Mojo has definitely been the most challenging model so far for me to give birth to." - Juha Ruokangas The Mojo comes in four flavors; the Classic, the Blues, the Grande, and the Supreme. MOJO CLASSIC: This type of solid body, sincle cut-away guitar started it all in the golden 50s. The Mojo Classic offers tonal excellence á la Ruokangas - and the style, well there's not much to add, is there? Classic features: The basic version of the Classic is fitted with a calibrated set of Ruokangas MojoBlues (bridge) and SingleSonic (neck) pickups, nickel plated hardware and black 3-ply pickguard. The neck comes with a maple fretboard and medium jumbo frets. The colour options are Solid Black or Vintage White. MOJO BLUES: A big, lively punch driven by the handwound Ruokangas pickups, warmth and harmonics added by a selected rosewood fretboard. No Mojo can take the blues better than this! Blues features: The Blues differs from the Classic by the warmer sounding rosewood fretboard, tortoise or ivory pearl pickguard and a wider choice of colour options. MOJO GRANDE: If you dig the twang but desire for more sensitive dynamics and striking looks, check out the Mojo Grande. It offers you extremely resonant body tone and nice boost at lower mids to cut through in the mix. With this baby strapped on you will definitely stand out from the crowd! Grande features: The basic version of the Grande comes with a stunning arctic birch top fitted on spanish cedar body. Other features include a calibrated set of Ruokangas MojoBlues (bridge) and SingleSonic (neck) pickups, nickel plated hardware, rosewood fretboard and medium jumbo frets. Wide selection of transparent colours available. MOJO SUPREME: The Figured Arctic Birch takes stronger and stronger place in our lineup. The matched set of Arctic Birch top and fretboard adds brilliance to the ultra dynamic tone of the Mojo Supreme. And if looks could kill... Supreme features: The basic version of the Supreme comes with a beautiful arctic birch top and a matching fretboard. Other features include a calibrated set of Ruokangas MojoBlues (bridge) and SingleSonic (neck) pickups, nickel plated hardware and ThermoTreated maple neck.
