Shelley D. Park has been building guitars in Vancouver, British Columbia since 1991. Her love of the music of Django Reinhardt has led her to focus her skills on constructing guitars based on the designs of Mario Maccaferri and the Selmer Company of France. Shelley's gypsy jazz guitars embody the classic sound and design of the original instruments while reflecting a contemporary approach to lutherie.

DAG represents custom commissions for Shelley Park. We can only handle a limited amount per year and they are on a first come-first served basis with typical wait times ranging from 6 to 10 months. Shelley Park Custom Modèle Encore
The Modele Encore is based on the later models produced by the Selmer Company of France. It features a long scale length and ‘petite bouche’ oval soundhole. The bright, clear, focused tone of this model along with 14 frets clear of the body make it an ideal choice as a solo instrument. It also serves the rhythm guitarist well with a punch that will drive a rhythm section.
