Gene Baker / Fine Tuned Instruments B3 The B3 comes in five flavors: Earth (from $4200) - Flat top model - This element embodies the natural raw essence of a simplistic nature of design, there's something to be said about natural talent and humble beauty. Fire (from $5200) - Carved top solid body model - This element adds a dimension character, giving life to the carve top with a heart on fire. Wood (from $6100) - Chambered to Hollow body models - This element adds natural rich tones, attributed to the acoustical properties with the introduction of air, allowing the woods' tone to be showcased, giving each a unique voice of its own. Water - Carved top/carved back hollow models - This element adds motion and grace, giving birth to the added flowing shapes and contours of the instrument with the woods' interacting between the front and rear woods, adding sound waves into the tonal picture. Metal - Neck thru models - This element adds strength and stability as a single unit allowing the instrument's resonation to travel unbridled throughout the center of the instrument. Models can have a combination of elements such as an Earth/Wood model would be a flat top with a hollow body or a Fire/Metal hybrid being a Carve top neck thru. Elements feed and have a cause and effect unto each other. With these parameters new models will naturally be born as new instruments come to life. Not all combinations have been fully developed based upon the element family tree so please stay Fine Tuned for more info... typical B3 specs might read as follows: Solid body Mahogany set neck with carved maple top Creme bound body and fretboard RF control layout 2 vol, 2 tone, 3 way pup selector, mini coil tap switch 2 Seymour humbuckers, 59 bridge & Pearly Gates neck with covers TonePros double locking bridge and tailpiece Nickel hardware Grover tuners Mahogany neck Rosewood fretboard 17 degree tilt back headstock 12 inch radius neck 22 frets 24.625 scale length 6105 fretwire 1.660 nut width - 2.220 heel width Buzz Feiten Tuning System and Buzz Feiten bone logo nut RF neck shape .800 to .980 C shape Diamond block inlays (abalone and gold pearl mix) Ebony headstock overlay with inlaid b3 logo Straight string pull headstock SNAGG tracking device G&G Hardshell case Available options: 5 control layout options: a..
