Based on a unique extended 27-inch scale length, the Soloway Long Neck guitars produce a tonal clarity, presence and articulation that is truly revolutionary. When playing a Soloway, the notes just seem to jump off the instrument. And the added scale length and rigidity provide the Soloway with great sustain to match its signature clarity.
Designed from the inception by veteran finger stylist Jim Soloway to be a true player’s guitar, the Soloway is a remarkably comfortable and well-balanced guitar. It is also wonderfully lightweight, tipping the scales at just 5 to 7.5 lbs (depending on woods and configuration).
Whether you’re after pristine cleans or gain-drenched distortion, the unique tones of the Soloway guitars provide a wonderful and unique alternative. But perhaps it’s best to read what a couple of well-respected, independent third parties had to say.

Guitar Player Magazine (July, 2005) – “There’s a resonance and authority that’s different and powerful … The Swan came off like photorealism … It not exactly that you get more low end. You just get better low end … Guitarists looking for a new sound and feel, with a cool look to boot will definitely find it here.”
JazzTimes (Jan, 2005) – “Notes ring out clearly, shimmering – and they hang around, creating gorgeous overtones that become ever more complex and sublime with every passing phrase … It’s something else to actually hear the notes declare themselves with such authority.”
Soloway Swans
Soloway guitars are available in two basic shapes: The Swan and The Little Wing. The difference between the two is the shape of the treble side cutaway. The Swan cutaway is pointed and swept downward while the Little Wing cutaway is rounded and more traditional.
