Spalt "2 is Better Than 1"

Serial number G 0838 "2 is Better Than One" has a mahogany back and a mahogany neck with a Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard. Its scale is 25 1/2". The tuners are vintage style Gothos. The bridge is an adjustable stoptail and the pickups are a P90-style Bonetop in the bridge and a Bonetop SC (based on a Fralin Blues Special Strat pickup) in the neck position. Warm, sweet singing tone and very melodic. Volume, 3-way and tone. "2 Is Better Than One" is one of the few full-out totems Michael has made this year.

Swamp Ash body, bolt-on one-piece Maple neck, 22 medium jumbo frets, 12" radius, 25 1/2" scale. The top has an original 1951 Esquire Magazine calendar cover applied to it with resin. The back is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. The bridge is a standard Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles (aged). The pickup is a Lindy Fralin SP 43 based "BoneTop" pickup.
