Tungsten Mosaic

The Tungsten Mosaic amplifier is based on the 5F1 design, delivering 5 watts with a 6V6 and 9 watts with a 6L6 power tube. It has a single Volume knob, two inputs and comes standard with either an 8" or 12" Weber T12Q speaker and Mercury Magnetics transformers.

Because this amp is cathode biased, swapping power tubes is just a matter of plugging them in. No re-biasing is ever necessary. Likewise, the preamp section will accept 12AX7, 12AU7, 12AY7, 12AT7 and 5751 tubes which allows a variety of tone options with a simple tube change.

This is a great practice amp for guitar, and it is pure Chicago blues with a harmonica. The oversized 12" Mosaic cabinet makes for tighter, punchier bass response, while still keeping it very compact and lightweight, making this one of Tungsten's most popular amplifiers that works equally well for the home player or as a great little recording amp in any studio environment.
