PICKGUARDS Verrilli is often asked about the pickguards and how well will they hold up after time. According to Frank it all depends on how it is finished and the look you want (varoius types of oil from linseed to a rock hard polymerised tung oil, polyurethane, etc.). And if you don't mind applying oil periodically on the area your finger or pick wears you can get a look that will get better with time and last indefinetly.
