He builds on a very limited basis and relies on his experience as a professional musician in shaping the way the instrument plays and sounds. DAG represents custom commissions for Victor Baker. We can only handle a limited amount per year and they are on a first come-first served basis with typical wait times ranging from 6 to 10 months. The "Model 35 / Quilt Top": With it's Quilted Maple top, Honduras Mahogany body, Honduras Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard, Lindy Fralin pickups, Ice Tea Sunburst Finish and quartersawn sitka spruce center block, this guitar proves to be one of the finest 335 style guitars ever available.
The VBT is Victor's take and twist on the classic Tele design. It has a unique set neck that makes for incredibly comfortable playing and upper fret access, and has some body carves and contours that look stunning as well as make for a very well balanced and comfortable fit, whether standing or sitting. The premium woods complimented with an ultra thin 100% pure nitro finish and topped off with Budz Purebred Tele pickups, make for one of the finest sounding T style guitars to be had.
The DDC Solidbody Guitars pictured here feature deep set necks and fully carved tops. Neck pockets extend well past the neck pickup. The top is highly sculpted and the body has a deep comfort waist cut.
