DESCRIPTION:

Custom built for Destroy All Guitars by Mario Martin, this guitar is a replica of Jeff Beck's famous 1974 Telegib which was a Telecaster loaded with 2 humbuckers designed by Seymour Duncan especially for Jeff Beck's guitar. The guitar started as a butchered 1959 Fender Telecaster that originally had a slab rosewood fingerboard. Seymour went to work on it, removed the fingerboard, reshaped the neck and rewound 2 Gibson PAF humbuckers that were removed from one of Lonnie Mack's smashed Flying Vs.

The "Tele-Gib" became a critical part of Jeff's "Blow By Blow" album, appearing on songs such as "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" and "Freeway Jam," making it a significant piece of music history.

DAG is proud to offer Mario's magnificent replica of Seymour's incredible gift to Jeff Beck..
