B&G Handmade Guitars was founded by Eliran Barashi & Kiki Goldstein, skilful and expert luthiers in the field of vintage guitars from the golden era with 9 years and over 200 builds of experience, and Avi Goldfinger, an artist and entrepreneur. They are devoted to one thing only – creating the best sounding instruments on the market.
B&G guitars are notably gimmick free. B&G creates full, perfectly well-balanced, unique, and original instruments that will grow on you. They build instruments that will ignite your passion for the only thing that matters – playing the guitar.
B&G designs are the outcome of their own 'golden rule' for creating great instruments (their secret sauce), and the result of a meticulous study of what made models from early '20s to the mid '50s such timeless classics. Their golden rule? - everything must be made in-house by B&G. They cast their own brass hardware from a unique alloy that conducts the fullest frequency range (they even use thick brass pickup covers to isolate the coils instead of the chip pressed tin covers used by other manufacturers). They wind and make their own pickups and use their rare stock of aged wood such as Brazilian rosewood, Madagascar rosewood, Amazon rosewood, Honduras mahogany and eastern maple (some of it is 90 years old!).
They even make the glue they use.
The result is consistency in the quality and the sound of their instruments. As a small workshop they control and pay very careful attention to crafting the sound. If it’s not perfect to their ears it doesn’t leave the shop.
B&G's main approach is the plug & play - that is, a great electric guitar must sound great when you plug it to a clean amp and there is only one cable between the amp and the instrument. B&G's dream is that their guitars will become a classic in their own right.
Following the tremendous success and recognition of the Little Sister®, B&G wanted to create a new version of the guitar that could be accessible to all players. With careful work and determination, they started developing the Crossroads series...
