DESCRIPTION:

The magnificent Nine Volts of Glory amp - meet the meanest rock-n-roll and blues beast with its jaw-dropping tone and gorgeous looks.

This amp was inspired by Brian May's classic "Deacy amp" which was May's secret weapon in creating his sublime guitar tone. Tone Revival's 9-volt battery powered Deacy amp is a unique combination of the legendary tone of two guitar heroes; Brian May and his hero and source of guitar sound inspiration - Rory Gallagher.

Basically what the Tone Revival partners did was to combine two major factors in creating this little beast. The first was creating their own Deacy amp based on their own unique analog circuitry which was designed and hand built by guitar effects guru Guy Shapira. The next thing they did was add a built-in overdrive/treble booster unit which is an accurate replica of the legendary 1973 S. Hawk Tonal Expander Fuzz/Overdrive used by Rory Gallagher.

The result is a Deacy amp on steroids, which enables you to recreate any classic overdriven legendary guitar tone.

The Nine Volts Of Glory guitar amp is much more than a Deacy amp though. With its own real analog circuitry, it is designed to recreate any classic sound from early electric Chicago blues, through Iommi's ferocious growl in Black Sabbath, through Page's small overdriven amps in early Zeppelin, to Rory Gallagher and Brian May's soulful tones. The amp allows you total portability and provides all the fuzz/overdrive you'll ever need. Gone are the days of lugging around stacks of gear.

The gain structure in the Nine Volts Of Glory is inspired by the legendary 1973 S. Hawk Tonal Expander Fuzz/Overdrive used by, among others, Rory Gallagher, and the amp is equipped with two 6" vintage style alnico speakers.

This little wonder is already being used in many studios as a secret weapon for recreating not just classic guitar tones but also for recreating the beautiful analog sounds of the late '50s to early '70s.

Note that while the speakers are a standard 6” size, and it is technically possible to change them out for other speakers, Tone Revival's testing found that the hand made Weber speakers they use sound best with this amp.

The Nine Volts Of Glory includes a one year warranty on all parts materials and workmanship, outside of normal wear.
