This guitar is made from a carefully chosen clear, lightweight, one piece alder slab. Frank's style of relief carving has natural primitive quality to it. Like his Flagcaster model and other carvings there is a feeling of spontaneity and aliveness from the hand worked pieces. This makes the guitar more approachable for playing and not something only to be put on a wall to look at. Like his other Natural S Style guitars, it has a hand-rubbed finish that gets better with time. Other features include a black walnut pickguard, Fralin Custom Vintage Hot pickups and a maple neck with a nicely aged nitro amber tint, medium C back, 12" radius and medium frets. Like on all of Verrilli's guitars the neck has an oiled back and heavy rolled edges. The Spacescape is for the collector or player who wants to experience a truly functional piece of art.
