The Evertone Reverb is a 6L6-based, single 12" combo. It is the result of requests from longstanding customers to build a black line series to emulate the beautiful sounds of the pre-CBS blackface amplifiers...
The Louis Electric Blackline Amps are in stock and it’s our opinion that Louis has gone far and above the call of duty in regard to creating the finest Blackface style amps one could hope for. The tone of the Columbia Reverb is so big, thick and rich, I liken it to a Blackface milkshake. The Deltone Reverb is that one in a million Deluxe that many spend a lifetime searching for and the Evertone Reverb could easily be classified as a WMD in the fight for superior tone. The Columbia Reverb has become my personal No. 1 Grab ‘N Go. Its clean tones are beautiful beyond description, as are those of all the models in this series. Congratulations are in order for Lou as he has recreated all that was great about the Blackface amps of the '60s and has made them available to anyone yearning for those magnificent tones. - Cliff

THE EVERTONE REVERB
The Evertone Reverb is a 6L6-based, single 12" combo. It is the result of requests from longstanding customers to build a black line series to emulate the beautiful sounds of the pre-CBS blackface amplifiers. The Evertone Reverb is a true two-channel amp with two inputs for each channel. One channel offers a straight sound and the other channel offers vibrato and reverb.
The Tremolo circuit was modified from the opto-coupled or photo-cell tremolo circuit in the blackface amps and moved to a bias modulated circuit. The Reverb circuit has also been altered from the 12AT7 driver tube to a 12AU7. This change provides a more pleasing reverb sound to the ear.
The Normal channel of the Evertone Reverb has volume, treble and bass. The Vibrato channel has volume, treble, middle, bass, reverb, speed, and intensity. The original blackface Vibrolux amp did not have a middle control. The middle control is a great addition as it provides more control for the player's midrange sound.
The player also has an option of simply unplugging the speaker cable and plugging it into a 4k load for a cleaner sound or switching to an 8k jack for a bit of crunch and volume drop.
